Possible Situation:
You have a chain of premises used for retail, customer service, distribution,
collection or other uses that have cameras recording to Digital Video Recorder
or using an IP backbone to a Server unit.
You have previously contracted a guarding company to collect, review
and change the hard drives and send you relevant information as they
see fit. Costs of this exercise have escalated and you would now like
to centralise this monitoring so that you can view the various sites
live from time to time or retrieve information stored on the hard
drive from an incident earlier in the week.
Solution:
Ensure that your DVR is capable of streaming data off site, if not
upgrade to an IP based system or switch to a transmission system.
Research and plan your offsite monitoring requirements and decide upon
what key areas you want to cover. Should you have full protocols
available we can then integrate your CCTV together with access
control, fire, building management and other systems running at your
premises.
During daylight working hours the monitoring can take place from
your own control room and at night time and over weekends this can
switch to your chosen service provider. This solution will allow you
to monitor the Management System independently through html from
anywhere in the world.
